Approaching Ultra Light

Ausgangspunkt ist eine Recherche zu den Fahndungsphotos und Fahndungslisten, die im Auftrag des Schweizer Nationalstaats erstellt und als erste koordinierte Polizeiaktion, fahrende lebende Gemenischaften im Zentraleuropäischen Raum systematisch erfasst, anhand von Fotografien und dafür entwickelter Identitätskategorisierungen verfolgt, zerstört und ausgeölscht haben.

Fragen des Widerstands, des Verhältnisses dieses frühne Antiziganismus als Kernelement moderner Gesellschaften, der Applikation von Unterwerfungs- Unterdrückungs und Adminsitrationsverfahren, zur Kontrolle, Homogenisierung, Enteignung der Ressourcen und der kulturellen Enteignung der Gesellschaft, die in den Kolonien erprobt und nach Europa zurück gebracht wurden.

Die Performances stellt dabei die Macht des Dokuments und des Dokumentierens, des Zugangs zu frühen bildgebenden Technologien, die Übertragung von Naturwissenschaftlichen Ordnungs- und Kategorisierungssystemen auf die Bevölkerungserfassung, der mündlichen Überlieferung, und der Verweigerung sich den Machtinstrumenten der sesshaften Mehrheitsgesellschaft vollends zu unterwerfen gegenüber.
